A panel discussion with CAO's on academic/IT relationships.  How do we communicate expectations of service, faculty development, and governance?  The panel will help us understand what they need from IT in order to foster advances for the academic participants in the university.

Academics and Technology -- Aligning vision, planning, priorities and problem solving

You will hear brief presentations by CAO/CIO teams on how alignment in academic/IT visioning, planning and priority setting is achieved on their respective campus.  We will then challenge the teams to spontaneously work through several problems that commonly confound the best of plans.

"LMS Conversions:  Stories from the Trenches"

For a variety of reasons, many schools find themselves switching or considering switching from their initial Learning Management System to a new one. Our panel, which includes representatives from DePauw, Franklin, Goshen and Wabash will share out of their own experiences in making the switch and lead the group in discussing everything from the impetus to switch, the selection process, implementation, switchover and faculty retraining and support issues.
