Paul II Center
Sister M. Elise Kriss, President of the University of Saint
Francis, operates a backhoe on Friday, March 4 to remove the
first soil during the groundbreaking for the Pope John Paul II
Center.

construction project in the history of the university. It will
be located between Spring Street and Mirror Lake, next to the
Doermer Family Center for Health Science Education, and will
encompass the existing Bonaventure Hall.
The 90,000 square foot complex will house an expanded

training facilities, and student services. The university’s
Family Business Center will be contained within the Pope John
Paul II Center, along with the School of Professional Studies,
the Keith Busse School of Business and Entrepreneurial
Leadership, and portions of the School of Liberal Arts.
Occupancy is expected in August 2006.
