This insurance section was created in December, 2006.  It’s purpose is to:

• Provide background information suitable for campus use and discussion as it considers joining a premium pooling, risk sharing insurance trust through ICI

• Identify and respond to common questions from our member campuses

• Identify and respond to common concerns from the insurance industry

• Inform you of upcoming deadlines and events relevant to this initiative

Educational Material

These materials should be immediately helpful for your personal use as well as to communicate the concepts of pooling to other senior leaders and your Board.

Current Issues

• Insurance Industry Concerns and ICI Response identifies concerns about pooling as described through the insurance industry trade association.  Marsh, our trust attorney, and ICI collaboratively respond.

• ICI Trust FAQ captures questions being asked by several campuses.  Marsh, our trust attorney, and ICI provide current answers.  This FAQ is updated as new issues arise and/or better answers are provided.
