You don’t believe the real world waits for graduation ...
For the approximately 2,600 students who call this campus home, Anderson University is a place of academic and Christian discovery.
Because of the university’s commitment to providing mentoring relationships, students work closely with renowned faculty in a variety of fields. Such mentors include a biology professor known for his focused attention toward environmental stewardship, music faculty who’ve performed across the globe, and an English professor who travels the country portraying nineteenth-century American author Henry David Thoreau.
Opportunities abound at AU for students to get involved and discover the activities that are most meaningful to them.
For some, this means assisting professors in research projects and other professional endeavors. For many others, Tri-S (Study, Serve, Share) is one of the most meaningful experiences, with students traveling to more than 50 destinations each year for learning and service projects.
Students may also choose from a range of extracurricular activities, including student government, Model UN, intramural sports, Multicultural Student Association, theatre productions, and the AU student newspaper, just to name a few.
Whether it’s traveling with the chorale to sing at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City, crafting business strategies with local entrepreneurs, or working behind a camera with an award-winning production company in Tanzania, there’s always something to discover at Anderson University.
