Giving to ICI
ICI provides a gateway to Indiana's 31 member institutions for individuals, corporations, and foundations interested in supporting Indiana's private, non-profit colleges and universities. Donors can maximize their giving potential through strategic giving opportunities offered by ICI knowing that one-hundred percent (100%) of all philanthropic gifts made to Independent Colleges of Indiana go to support our students. ICI does not deduct fees or place any administrative charges on philanthropic gifts.
More than 90 percent of full-time undergraduate students at
Independent Colleges of Indiana member institutions receive one or more
types of financial aid, yet receive less than 4 percent of the state’s
total non-capital expenditures on higher education.
ICI member institutions regularly award students grants and/or scholarships based on financial need, as well as academic and other special abilities (e.g., music or athletics). The average institutional grant at Indiana private colleges is more than $17,000 (meaning some students receive more and some less). As a result, the ICI concentrates much of
its efforts on building scholarship funds and pursuing new and
innovative budget relief initiatives for our member campuses.
As you visit our Giving to ICI webpages, we hope you will find a
giving program that is right for you. If not, ICI staff will be happy to assist you in establishing a personalized giving initiative
tailored to fit your interests and goals.
